This is my biggest portrait project ever done, and in digital format. (Procreate on iPad)
Each portrait usually takes me on average 2 days, but this piece took a week to complete. I chose this image because I really liked the pattern of their jackets, which matches their flamboyance, but soon realised that it was a huge added challenge, on top of drawing three faces.
i believe I managed to pull through this difficult portrait in part due to my admiration for their music, their performances and how they’ve managed to become where they are today.
