Description This is Maria de Guzman AKA The Jaguar. A short lived attempt at 'diversity' by DC Comics in the 90s. If anything this reflected a short lived period following the impact of Terminator 2 and the muscular, sinewy arms of Linda Hamilton. Mainstream comics were willing to put muscle heroines front and center for a time.

Ooooh,
I like this BTX! I am blown away by any kind of Jaguar artwork out there done by people, since she is not a well known character. And you nailed it my friend! The angry eyes expression and savage pose, yup, this ois the Jaguar in all her glory alright!

I only found out about the character online, only ever seeing another Impact comic as a give-away in a showbag. I really need to do some modern pics, or at least dig-out older stuff to post in my scraps.

And I don't recall ever seeing this one, so "new" to me too
