I don't think I've ever drawn a person with a hat at life drawing. It certainly makes an interesting prop. Great drawing!

Thank you, when Elena walked in with her hat, I insisted that she try it on for our 1-hour pose. I knew that it would add to the composition, and I do like hats myself. Barrie

Love this charcoal drawing for so many reasons. The broken & unbroken lines are just soooo delicious in and of themselves but the lightness of your touch in the tones really do it for me.
