In agonies of muted shame, she carefully explained to the householder, that the arrogant sod who'd crudely awakened her and thrust her out of his flat, at the crack of dawn this morning, was nothing like the slick Lothario who'd expertly outmaneuvered her prudenct resolutions at the crowded club last night. And if he'd only be so kind as to use his master key, she'd collect her clothes and be gone in moments, never to return.
"That's my boy", the distinguished gentleman smirked silently, while fumbling in his pocket, as though he were complying with her fervent wish to escape this universal nightmare. It wasn't his keys he was fondling.
