Digging through the dark jungle that is my computers hard drive, I found this little gem. I did this pic about a year ago, (See: Dark Egg Legion Reference in image) with the expectation to build a series of pics around it. Life pretty much got in the way and prevented that from happening unfortunately, but I can at least share this with you guys.

It is styled to greatly resemble ’s art tendencies made famous in the Sonic the Hedgehog Comic. I think I did a pretty good job capturing a lot of his mannerisms. I will take this opportunity to point out that when I boast that “I can draw anything”, that also involves creating images in various styles as well. This was actually another one of the rare pics that both me and my Bro both worked on. It really is quite difficult to differentiate which one of us drew what. I can barley remember myself.

Always fun to draw a pic of Knux and the Chaotix. Their wide range of colors really helps to build a distinctive image. I also added in a few comic book sound effects and speech bubbles for good measure here, just to drive home that illustrated book feel.

Go ahead and enjoy this one. It’s a shame I wont be able to complete the plans I originally had, but that is just life I guess. Onward and upward to bigger and better things.
