And the next entry into the Anniversary Series is the "Big Gun" himself, E-123 OmegaThis dude was a absolute beast to complete. All the metal work really drained away the clock. It was worth it in the end as I got a very unique submission for the series. I do like how this picture shows off Omega's gun-ho personality, the bot is always ready for a good rumble.
Omega has very little in common with most mobians, so drawing him was a large departure from the norm. All and all I believe I did pretty well.

This project was started on the 20th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog, June 23, 2011. It will encompass numerous characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog video games, comic books and TV shows.
I do not own any of these copyrighted characters. They belong to SEGA or their copyrighted owners.

I'm sure this drawing wasn't easy! Metal drawing work is hard, but it was worth it! Omega, the "Power" formation, muscle & walking arsenal of G.U.N.'s Team Dark looks great! You have to feel sorry for who ever he's pointing his guns at! Looking forward to seeing him blow some Black Arms Aliens up in the "Shadow Fall" story arc of Sonic Universe! Happy New Year!!!

He chose to spare Cream after he "merged" w/ Gamma.
He destroyed Gamma when he was simply Omega

He presents a unique challenge from the rest of the characters. Most mobians follow similar tropes but E-123 shatters them all.

Considering he was meant to replace Gamma, he turned out to be a special char all on his own.

E-102 Gamma was a playable character in Sonic Adventure. He was one of the original E-series robots. (Omega is E-123 the last of the series)
Gamma was a great character but after the events of Sonic Adventure's glorious conclusion he had to be replaced, so in comes Omega in the later game Sonic Heroes.

Omega is not like any other char, he is even way diffrent from Gamma, so it was not all that easy to complete.
