My finalist piece for the Brisbane Portrait Prize, a portrait of my childhood next door neighbour who is a musician.Edit - I didn't take out the major 50k prize, but I did win one of the category awards for this piece

The lighting and textures are fantastic as always. Everyone would shy away from rendering a fluffy throw and you challenge it. And it looks amazing.

haha thank you, but we'll just have to wait and see, there is some incredible work that I'm up against and it's very much subjective to what the judges preference is. I find out on October 10th
