Crane near pond at Kinkaku-ji (Golden Temple) in KyotoAlmost invisible, the crane stood.
Very still, near the water.
Watching me, as I watched.
I took its image,
as quick as I could.
Like a water guardian,
of the Golden Temple,
its graceful stature...
is a calm reflection in a pond.
