haven't gotten to draw anything in a couple days because of the construction going on around my house. excuse the horrendous anatomy. it's obvious i never draw things from behind, haha.i adopted this fella a super long time ago and finally got around to drawing him. got him from *Kaweki because omg she makes the best designs i swear. i just custom order another adopt from her, haha.
he's unnamed. i'll figure something to call this amazing green guy c:

i have a quick question, how do you shade like that? is it a certain brush? or does it have to do with opacity?

i use a regular brush in photoshop. i usually pick a darker purple or violet and start a new layer. i'll either start drawing the shading on or doing the subtraction method where you fill it with one color and erase the light areas. then i take that layer, put it on multiply and then lower my opacity to 25-40% depending on what it is.
