Then you will LOVE the newest storyline. It's called "Magnum Orgus" and it takes Wulf and Batsy's relationship to surprising levels. Especially in the latest issue (Magnum Orgus Issue #4). Available now on ComiXology: www.comixology.com/Wulf-and-Baβ¦

Batsy reminds me of "Velvet Von Black" from Rob Zombie's "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto", was she a possible influence on Batsy or is the similarity just coincidental?

I created, wrote, and drew the first Wulf and Batsy comic in 1999-2000. The Rob Zombie movie you refer to, came out in 2009.

You ever hear of 'Gil's All Fright Diner'?

It's a book with the almost the same premise. Although, the werewolf and vampire in it aren't what you would picture them as.

Well, I created Wulf and Batsy in late 1999, early 2000... and have the copyright forms and earliest print editions to prove it... So, don't worry, I wasn't copying that book (if that's what you are implying).
Based on the info on Wikipedia, that book came out in 2005 and doesn't sound anything like the premise of my storyline other than a (male) werewolf and a vampire companion who get into a very different situation than my characters do. It also sounds like that book's vampire is a male (mine is female).

No, not copy just something that reminded me of it. Yours sounds more interesting than the other.

Oh, sorry. And thanks for the kind words.
I've had people accuse me of imitating "Twilight" which has vampire and werewolf characters... and which also came out long after I created Wulf and Batsy.
And I've had people on Deviant Art accuse me of ripping off the monster illustrations in the Art Instruction book: "Scared: How To Draw Horror Comic Characters". They apparently didn't notice I was the co-author and illustrator of that book and was only posting my own illustrations from it, on DA.
Anyway, I didn't mean to jump on you, but based on these past experiences I've become a little trigger-happy about accusations like that.
Sorry if I misunderstood your intent.

Hmmm... Methinks, I sense a cause of their problems....
