Hang in there. It takes a lot of work. But you definitely have the talent for. I strongly suggest life drawing. Even if you want to be a cartoonist. You need to know the rules before you can break them. So really drawing from life is the best teacher I've found.

My first suggestion is life drawing. Drawing fantasy creatures and things is great, but you need to know the rules before you can break them. You primarily need to work on your anatomy, both human and animal. And the only way to do that is practice. Find pictures of animals and people and draw them. You need to study how the musculature and anatomy works. For example, I draw and paint nothing without some form of photo reference.

Thanks much ^^ While I do have three books ofΒ Lee Judah Ames about drawing animals, I rarely consult them - it's sort of stressing...I have some mental health problems, and they make learning something new incredibly hard.
What else would you suggest?

You could try tracing. That would help you learn anatomy. You have to train your eye and hand to reproduce reality. So unfortunately, learning how to life drawing is crucial. It's really the first step.
