I too would love this band. It took me a second to notice the dude in the bottom left corner, but he seems like the bassist so that makes sense Part of me wishes the background got darker closer to the center, but I see too that it would make the dark hair disappear. Would you ever make the background a more blue neutral or is the aesthetic of the book mostly monochrome?

The art director wanted each band illustration to be a different monochromatic color. Not my favorite way of doing things, but I guess it did make it easier.
