I restarted playing Pokemon Platinum after not touching the DS for almost a full year, and am momentarily obsessed with Pokemon all over again. Geez, it sure has changed since the days of Red and Blue. There's so much new stuff and new 'mon in this generation, I can't keep up!Fortuneshipping (Dawn/Lucas, Hikari/Kouki) is my OTP, and actually the first Pokemon pairing I have come to really love. I wasn't into Pokeshipping because I was too young to see romantic subtext in cartoons.
This took me quite a while, but the most time was spent trying to think of a background. I originally planned to have the setting be an aquarium with Luvdisc swimming around, but it didn't look good at all. So I took the easy way out and made a simple sparkly background. Maybe next time.

I love it! x3 It's just so...so...ahh, I can't think of any way to express my opinion other than that I love it! Fortuneshipping happens to be one of my all-time favourite shippings as well, alongside Hoennshipping. And, sadly, I find that it's all too often neglected in art and writing, usually overshadowed by Twinleaf- or Pearlshipping. And, as simple as your picture is in composition, the overall quality and the apparent dedication you put into it make me feel just lovely looking at it~ ^^ As for the criticism you seem to be requesting...uh...well, honestly, I can't really think of anything wrong with it. They're drawn pretty on-model, the sheen in their hair is impressive, and even the hands look great, and those are always tough! Plus, it's insanely cute, which is obviously a plus with shipping art. XD All in all, great job; I should hope to see more in the future~

Aww, thank you so much! The hands were the part I had to retry the most times. I always see something not quite right with most of my pics, but I can't always put my finger on it.
