it's a beuatiful work as always, however i have to say that i'm quite dissapointed. the cat isn't very detailed and the picture looks quite... boring? whe i looked at the drawing of that black dog i was truly amazed, but beside that picture this one isn't that good. but it still is good.

Thank you for you comments, this was a commision piece and the original photo was taken by a phone so I really had no detail at all when I viewed the image and any reasonable size bigger than a phone screen.
Also my current Canon Dslr is away being repaired so this shot was taken with a cheap digital camera and it certainly loses quality.
In the end the person who the pastel was done was in tears when they saw it and absolutely loves it to bits... The dog photo reference photographs were done by myself, does make a difference the image I am working with.

i didn't mean to insult you. i just wanted to say that the dog drawing was better, but this is one is also very good. mostly if you worked from a photo which has been taken with a mobile.
