Raven stretched out and opened her eyes to see a green furry mass in front of her.  She smiled when she remembered what had happened earlier that day.   Picking up Beastboy in her arms, she started to make her way to the kitchen, when she was met with three pairs of prying eyes.  All her friends were around the kitchen table, grinning like idiots at her.

She pointedly ignored them to prepare some more herbal tea.  As she waited for it to brew, she got an idea.  Raven placed cat Beastboy on the counter.  After getting a small bowl, she filled it with soy milk.

        Beastboy's nose twitched at the smell and he slowly awoke.  Upon seeing the milk bowl, the changeling walked over, took a small drink, meowed happily at Raven and continued to enjoy his milk.

Raven shook her head as she poured her tea; Beastboy was just too cute sometimes. She turned to lean against the counter and drink along with him.

Starfire's booming voice ruined the moment, "Friend Raven, I see that you have accomplished much in our absence."

"You could say that," Raven said, quietly.  She knew Starfire was referring to her emotions, but to Raven that didn't matter so much anymore.

Beastboy mewled behind her and jumped down from the counter.  He stretched, once on the tiled floor and then transformed back into his human form.

"Thanks, Rae.  Hey, Cy you up for a game?"

"Yeah," Cyborg said, while getting up and headed over to the TV with Beastboy.

Raven watched them leave and suddenly Starfire and Robin were behind her.

"So, Friend Raven, are you the 'going out' with Friend Beastboy?"

Blood rushed to her face and she pulled her hood up, "No…I'm going to go to my room now.

Raven quickly rushed out.  Beastboy noticed this and got up.

"What's the matter?"

"We simply asked her if you two were being a sugary, oval-shaped treat together."

They boys shared confused looks.

"I think she means 'dating'," Robin explained.

Beastboy grew a furious red, "No! …we were just…being friendly that's all."

Cyborg put on a smug grin, "I don't know, BB.  You two have been hanging out a lot lately."

"That's just because I broke the mirror, you know?   I wanted to make-up for it, that's all," Beastboy countered.

The changeling was quickly becoming uneasy of their knowing stares and excused himself.  As turned the corner to head to his room, he saw Raven there.

"Oh, hi, Rae.  You need somethin'?" he asked.

"Did you mean what you said back there?"

"Back where?" he inquired with confusion.

"…That you were just 'being friendly',"  Raven's voice faltered.

She had overheard?  Beastboy immediately felt overwhelmed with guilt.

"I didn't mean that.  I was just…I little embarrassed…Weren't you?"

Raven looked away, "Maybe…but you didn't have to deny it."

"Sorry…"  Beastboy was at a loss for the words that would make this better and not worse.

"It's okay."

He gawked at her, "You're serious?"

"If I hadn't bit my tongue, I would have said the same…I was just afraid that you were just trying to be a good friend and let me down easily."

Beastboy took a step closer, but Raven shook her head.

"Not were the others can see.  How about we go to my room?"
