it's just gradually adding each color as you go down the hair. ^^

Well it was mainly with normal crayola but I did use a few crayola watercolor pencils

This... is just... amazing!

The crayon (colour-pencil) work is very smooth yet wholesome in its texture and harmonizes beautifully with the smooth yet slick forms of the character. The dominance of near-white colour tones for her outfit and wings help accentuate the gorgeously realized rainbow gradation of her hair, near seamless in transition and blend of corresponding colours. The middle-twisted horn adds a sense of pacifist mystique (Asian Unicorns (Kirin) are known for their pacifist nature; they avoid even stepping on grass) to the character, as is her naive expression and lovely eyes.

Stellar job on both creative and colorful fields here, seriously I've always liked seeing traditionally done rainbow colours, and yours is it! Keep up the awesome work, and hope to see more traditional efforts alongside the digital!
