As a sidenote regarding your journal entry, I have to admit I prefer that kind of photograph, it is the reason I followed you in the first place -- but the "darker" stuff won't drive me away. Some people will of course have the opposite preference; and all in all I don't think you should limit yourself to a certain style to cater to your existing audience, after all we spectators are not "entitled" to anything, not even these beautiful HDR wonders !

Thanks for the feedback, that entry was a while ago, so, yeah, I think I have a more moderate view of it now (got a bit burnt-up at the time, maybe)
anyway, my main concern now is more "I have to take more pictures" rather than "I have to limit myself", so I guess there's that..
