This is an older progress photo of the hands. I didnt realise that I had not upload this picture. The "palms" are hollow so I can put my hands into and work cables that move the fingers. These still need to be painted, weathered and covered in the outer covering. The fingers are roughly 12 inches long.Related content

All of the parts have been built from scratch. The base of the hand is MDF. The finger digits and claws are all cast urethane resin pasts from a silicone mold that I made.

I made one of each type of segment then molded and cast each one in urethane resin.

Yes the base of the hand is hollow and has a handle to hold on to. There will be cables and strings installed soon so I can move the fingers.
