Description Grove Falls, Knox County Ohio

We couldn't find any pics of this fall anywhere, or any description, so we didn't know exactly what we were in for. There were no signs from the road we just stuck our head out the windows and listened for the sound. We were pleasently surprised.

Hmm... intersting approach. Usually I'd look at something like this and say "too much foreground" but in this case I think the branch above at about the same distance as the rocks below gives it a frame, or maybe a tunnel effect or smoething that just draws you deeper in towards the falls. Really gives a 3-D feel to it. Nice!

Generally, I like to have foreground in my fall shots. In this case I would agree that without the tree it would be too much, but like you said, the tree sort of frames it. Thanks a lot for the comment on this .
