The picture is a bit messy in some places but I guess that can't be helped with so little time. And isn't really important at all.
RD's expression is very cool and I love all these little details you put e.g. on the figurine. Nice picture!

I believe that the messy, sketchy style has adhered to my pencil work over the years to the point that it's become sort of a signature of mine.

Ah yeah after taking a look through your gallery I see what you mean.Β
Personally I aim to get my drawings as clean as possible (something I usually utterly fail at, especially during the ATG) but then again I only draw digitally or use vectors.
Also this 'messy, sketchy style' really doesn't take away from your pictures at all. You've got tons of very impressive work in your gallery.
