What's so weird about it? Mushroom Kingdom has always been more advanced about LGBT rights.. unlike the extremely religious Kingdom of Hyrule or the Communist State of Corneria.

I don't support this pairing either. I'm just saying, let people have fun.
And the reasoning is that he's incredibly passive, that he wears armbands that imply that he's into BDSM, and that he's incredibly beefy. In Japan, beefiness/largeness is often associated with homosexuality.
But I shouldn't have to justify the pairing because I don't support it myself. Just get off my back for pointing out that it's just people having fun. Please.
