Subject: my dog, Misty
Size: 24x36" stretched canvas
The first painting I did in my pet portrait series. My dog Misty, who would get sprayed multiple times by the same skunk in the same summer, and other summers. She was never known for her intelligence.
Modeling paste was used to make the textures. You can't really tell with the photographs, but these paintings are fun to touch.

omg...the dog seriously looks like my old dog...creepy lol she got sprayed my a couple of skunks, and she went from white and tan american eskimo, to pink eskie. lol cutest skunk ever

Ha, my dog was the big version of yours, a Samoyed. I remember her being pink for a while from all the tomato baths, too!

Thanks! My teacher says I've really found a style with this vein of art. I wanted to keep using really bright colours so it's all...happy and stuff. My English skills are terrible xD
