Oh my... This is so dramatic and it fits One Piece style very well, because it's already stirring emotions within me. Everytime I even think of one of the Straw Hats intent on protecting their Nakama, it makes me feel so happy, and makes ME wish I had great friends like them. Although I doubt I'M as brave as Usopp could ever be.
With all the times Usopp is getting beaten up, I just hope that he'll be able to return to Syrup Village in one piece for Kaya. I bet she'd feel so bad if he didn't make it! Go Usopp! Destroy Kaku and return home safely to the ones you love!

Truly, I think that Oda-sensei is a genius for invoking those kind of feelings without making the whole thing corny. He is able to make us truly care for his characters without making them angsty.

Me too. I started loving pirates all over again when I watched it. The first time I loved them was when I played a game about sailing the seven seas. I'd always play a character that would be a pirate and kill all the bad people!
Of course, being British in the game, the bad people were the Spanish, *laugh*

I hadn't thought about it, Kaku VS Usopp. What makes you think they'll face each other? Any particular reason, or just because?
I had this evil desire to see Sanji VS Kalifa. Why? Because she keeps accusing everyone of sexual harrasment, and that's just freaking funny in my head.

First, they're both longnoses. I've been dying for a longnose duel since I saw Arlong!
Second, Kaku's speed is crazy. Usopp's a sniper. Sniper+Moving Target=Kickass battle...
Third.. maybe because Kaku dumped Merry?
Haha! Sanji vs Kalifa... I can only sympathize; if he wins, he will never forgive himself for beating a lady. If he loses, he'll disappoint his nakama, including Nami!

Personally I'd like to see him keep his Sogeking persona. Like a mask he can don wheneve he needs a boost in courage. it's like insta-bravery. here's hoping the cracked mask is just a visual gag.
