Hah! I was listening to it when I came across this! What a coincidence. Anyhoo, I'll take the challenge and restart the song.
Now that I've stared at it: I've noticed some things. The way you did Charizard's eyes are really good, like so reptilian/demonic. But why are Blastoise's eyes red? Same for Red's eyes. Also, the way you tore Charizard's wing membrane is realistic, but not to over-dramatic. Good job. The cut over Blastoise's eye and the membrane makes one wonder why Venesaur and Pikachu are unscathed. And the flies? What's up with them? The lighting from the tail is an excellent job, spreading in all directions, not just against one wall. The way that the earth is brought up under Venesaur is excellent. Where's Snorlax and Espeon/Lapras?
I gotta say, it was scariest during the quiet parts. Lol, but I started seeing things, and parts wer disappearing. Blame it on paralax, I guess.

Regarding Charizard's eyes, thank you very much! I was aiming to make him scary. Blastoise's eye color was a mystery to me until I referred to a reference, and even then they were dark. The eyes here were initially dark as well, but I added a reflective red light to them to make them stand out even though Charizard's light wouldn't have normally reached them.
As for Red's eyes, I've always loved the idea of Red's eyes being red, Blue's eyes being blue, etc. The red also added to the creepy factor I was aiming for overall in this picture.
Thank you about Charizard's wings; I'm glad I did not overdo it!
I aimed to have each of the Pokemon have at least one trait about them that they otherwise wouldn't in order to make them look more experienced, though I had trouble coming up with one for Pikachu and Blastoise. I ended up just giving Blastoise a cracked shell from some apparent previous battle and trying to make Pikachu's expression less bubbly. I added veins to Venusaur because they seemed to fit. However I do see what you mean, and it doesn't make much sense as to why they have no battle "scars" like the others to me, either.
I've also always thought of Venusaur as something similar to a cow- large, slow, and not caring about small annoyances like bugs. Thus, I added flies around him.
I'm glad you like the ground beneath Venusaur! I was pushing my own boundaries there; I'm not very used to shading rocks and such.
Lastly, I was sticking to using the final forms of the starters (besides Pikachu), so thats why Snorlax, Espeon and Lapras are not present. I considered it initially, but then decided it would be too cluttered with them in there.
