Ally smiled, her wings were a black haze of red and black over the forest. She closed her eyes and memories came back of her times with the others. 'I'm sorry I wasn't that skilled, she thought and opened her eyes. Jake shot to her side nearly hitting her, "Ally whats wrong?" he asked worried, she looked at him and smiled, he blinked and stopped. She closed her eyes and started to fall. Jake stood there wondering if it was just a trick he shot down after her when she didn't move and her wings fell back not even picking up against the wind. Ally felt the wind whip around her and opened her hands, 'I lived as long as I could, sometimes your time comes before you expect and there's no hope to get away, you just have to dive head first and let life take its course, she thought and smiled one last time. Korizin was close by and heard something she shot to it and stopped at the edge of a clear patch of grass Ally lay on the ground she had a wing torn heavily from the fall. Jake sat beside her stunned, "I couldn't reach her," he said lowering his head his eyes were wide and all he could remember was the look on her face before she fell. Korizin ran to her sisters side and sat, "Ally," she whispered Jake looked at her, "I'm sorry this is my fault" he said, half expecting Ally to jump up and smack him for blaming himself, but he knew she wouldn't ever. Korizin looked at him unsure what to say she closed her eyes her hand holding Ally's as she started to cry. Korizin heard the sound of wings folding in and turned around, the rest of the flock stood staring at them Angora was watching Ally. Isis grabbed Ciar's wrist and raced over, "Shes okay right!?" Angora asked worried. "No.......shes.....shes dead" Korizin said. Angora looked at Ally's body, eyes wide she turned away and hugged Isis crying. "I should have reached her before she hit the ground, if only I had. Why didn't she tell me something was wrong?" Jake said shaking his head. No one said a word for a long time. Ally mumbled something barely alive and raised her hand and smiled, her eyes opened to slits and some blood trickled from her mouth. "Sorry, I......" she began to say, but her eyes started to close, "Ally wait! What is it!? Please don't die!" Korizin said grabbing Ally's hand and looking at her. Ally smiled still and her eyes closed fully, her body went limp, and her skin started to go cold. Korizin closed her eyes, "No you can't be dead please you cant!" she said shaking her head. Everyone lowered their heads and went silent. "We should probably go ahead and bury her, she'd want us to move on and not worry about her death so much" Ciar finally said, "Your right" Isis said and got up, "Any ideas where?" she asked Jake nodded, "Ya" he said and stood up Ciar nodded and they both took off the others followed. Damien picked up Ally's limp body and followed them Korizin kept beside Damien. They reached a house that looked old and deserted, Jake led them to a small path that went to a lake with a patch of open meadow with flowers around it. "Right here" Jake said, "he'd always gardened so her gardens the perfect place" Ciar said. Isis nodded and the older kids started to work. After they finished everyone gathered around the grave, Angora was crying and looked away. Isis glanced around at the others and they all kept silent, 'Well its obvious no one wants to speak she thought and sighed, "Well we'll miss you Ally, and I can promise one thing, I'm not ever going to forget you" Isis said, "Same here, good bye sis" Korizin said, Ciar nodded, "ya, and if it means anything I'll try to get long with Jake and accept him" he said. Jake nodded, "I'm sorry I wish I'd caught you back there. Anyway I'm not sticking around." Jake said, "see ya Ally hope your life is as good as it was before the fighting" he said and left Angora sniffed and cried, "I can't believe she's dead" she cried. Isis nodded, "We should go" she said looking at the others they all nodded and left.
