It's a great capture of what was a very cozy ambiente! I really like those shots against the light and being in the forest, created enough shadows and light for it to not be overexposed and the wide open field in the back, adds significance to what is probably part of the jumping course! I think that a little cropping on the right so that height-width dimensions are back to the "usual" photo size would further enhance the photo: it seems a little wider than high IMO and as the scene permits it, it could be done!

Actually I realise now that for some unknown reason I'd cropped this from a 4x3 down to what you see above - no idea why... may be I'll drag out the original.

I see! Well, i think that the focus of the shot is definitely around the sunlight: all you need to do is find the right frame to it from the surroundings!
