What a lovely jet the F14 was. I wonder if there will ever come a time where we use variable geometry wings again.
At least it had a very long life span in terms of how long it had been flying.

Aaaaach nothing will ever beat that beast in terms of grace, class and beauty!
I don't think variable geometry will be seen so soon again. what moves wears out, what wears out causes extra costs. and cost effectiveness is unfortunately the major factor in the current and foreseeable paradigm of almost anything in our world.
Aaaaaah I miss the big cat!!!!!
I hope I'll find the time to eventually finish that little "picture"-book with T-cat paintings I'm "planning" for the last two years.
