Description

After a long animation sprint last year I wanted to take it easy this month and return back to working on Huzme's model. As one of my goals for this year, I wanted to add two new outfits for her and while that is nice, I was noticing how I would always have to constantly adjust and patch minor issues while posing and animating her model. Additionally, I just didn't like the shaders I was using for her anymore. So, I figured it was finally time to just go over the entire model overall to see what I can improve on and make a big change.

The Result:

- Improved arms, legs, hands & barefeet
- Improved textures
- Body proportions fixed & added body definition
- New stylized shader for hair, skin & clothing
- New eyeball system for eyes for better eye tracking and less clipping
- New rig with improved weight paints and added butt bones (finally)
- Redone ~50 shapekeys for facial expressions (including gags)
- Redone 8 gag types to fit her head better and match the new shader
- Added one extra bunny suit outfit

While working on this update, I picked up Substance Painter to learn how to properly texture paint and create better textures than in Blender as it's texture baking system is needlessly time consuming and frustrating to work with. The textures never come out the way how I want them and it takes just way too long to get an entire material for one object baked.

So far, I'm happy with the result with how it came out and not only am I ready to make the next two outfits for Huzme, but I'll also be using this model for the upcoming Part 2 of Femme Fugitive!
