Requested byI had some trouble with this; I couldn't figure out how ponies could hold a video game controller. And then, for some reason, people at Smack Jeeves started posting images of old/obscure video game consoles, which pointed me in the right direction. So, they're playing some kind of Atari/SNES hybrid. Or something. It's old and belonged to Applejack and Big Macintosh when they were young.

Wouldn't say so, Ninja Gaiden was a hard game, as were many other classic games such as the Megaman series, Castlevania, Battletoads, but not exactly the same difficulty level as G'n'G |D

... totally the controller of choice for ponies.
No seriously ... I can't think of another game controller ever created that would be easier for a pony to use than that. A joystick and only two major face buttons, each the size of a silver dollar (not including the "Start" and "Select" buttons, and those little Turbo toggles) ... I have heard of a guy who beat Super Mario Bros. 3 with his FEET using one of those.
(I have one of those actually. It's kind of awesome. ... sort of like the Super-Scope for the SNES. It doesn't make gameplay any easier, but somehow you just feel a little bit cooler while using it.)
