The announcer brings the DM-Arena crowd's attention back to the ring.

"Ladies and gentlemen before we bring the contestants to the ring for our Main Event please welcome our promoter Ulrike Braun who is now in the ring with four very special guests. Braun Boxing events will showcase the very best in women's boxing worldwide so we are honored to be joined here in Karlsruhe tonight by many women who have already shown they can dazzle audiences around the world with their boxing skills. Please put your hands together to give a big welcome to the four champions who have now joined Ulrike Braun in the ring! From Santiago, Chile, the reigning WBC Latina Super Lightweight champion .... Javiera Etcheverry ..."

The fans cheer their approval for the tall Chilean.

The announcer continues. "From Osaka, Japan, the reigning OPBF Lightweight champion Masae!"

Masae waves to the fans who again respond warmly.

The announcer goes on. "From Punta del Este, Uruguay, the reigning WBC Latina Flyweight champion Maria Elena Areta!"

The pint sized Uruguayan draws a big reaction out of proportion to her size!

"And of course someone who needs no introduction here in Karlsruhe, she was the WIBF world champion in three different divisions, with a still unequaled number of 46 successful title defenses ... our very own Queen of the Ring, Regina Halmich!!"

Regina smiles and all four champions wave to the appreciative crowd. Somewhere just outside the main arena Stephanie Ward and Karen Carlson patiently await their call to walk into the ring.

"Thank you all for being here" says promoter Ulrike Braun to the four champions, smiling broadly. "Now let's bring in the boxers for tonight's Main Event!"
