Announcer Millie McFee leaves the ring and a round card girl parades the sign for Round One while the boxers make their final preparation for the start of the fight, sipping a little water and receiving their mouthpieces from their trainers.

"They've treated her like she's the champion" says Kelly to Kitten. "Now you can set the real tone of the fight, you start to show her who's the boss right from the get-go, ok?"

The KO Kitten nods.

"Be aggressive and show her you mean to control this fight, kiddo. Don't try to knock her out, but start strong and make her give you ground right away. I want her to see she's the challenger and you're the champ, no more of this BS. Beat her to the punch and put her on her back foot straight away, ok?"

Kitten nods again. She's had it with these Scots treating her like she's the challenger!

"I expect she'll come out like a house on fire" says Yoojung Lim to Vera. "Be careful, make her chase you,

lots of lateral movement, you don't need a big round straight away, but try to frustrate her and get her mad so she makes mistakes. You've got ten rounds to win this belt, you don't need to do it all right away. The crowd's on your side and she knows that now, so she'll try to come on too strong. Let her come after you and punish every mistake she makes, that's all we need right away."

Vera taps her blue gloves together. She's waited years for this, and she's ready.

Hilda tells the trainers to leave the ring, the round card girll hands the number card through the ropes then climbs out herself. Hilda checks that the judges anf timekeeper are ready then gives the timekeeper the

signal to start,

DING!

Hilda motions to the boxers to start boxing and both leave their corner looking eager for business.
