Heather has been boxing since she was in middle school. When she was 14, she was a bit of punk. She picked a fight near a boxing gym and a tough Korean woman boxing trainer dragged her into the gym and beat her up in the ring. She was pissed and kept coming back to try and get even and eventually fell in love with boxing. She did amateur fights until college when she got booked in some pro fights.
Hurricane Heather is now a sports medicine nurse, married ... and totally sure that the KO Kitten is over-rated! She knows the KO Kitten's reputation from Kitten's time as the champion of Denav's DWBL (denav.it/DWBL/index.htm ). Heather is now gunning for a fight with Kitten to show the ex-DWBL champ that today's Denav grrrlz are way tougher than anyone Kitten fought during her time in the DWBL!

15 years in the game, and no development. That's lame. Just took a look at Denav's site, the characters look the same as they did when I left some 12 years ago? My oh my...

Denav gets credit fom me for showing us what could be done with 3d modeling in boxing poses and for giving his players the ability to choose their boxers appearance and gear from an online menu. He is also running two fantasy leagues not just doing art so yes his style has not changed much but he has also built a totally different product than anyone else. Eery once in a while he makes tme to do his own art and that is where he experiments,not in hs boxing leagues where he has to stay inside the select what you want formula he developed. Also I got my start there and so did you by the sound of it. I am happy to acknowledge that even though I believe my art has progressed since I saw his. He got a lot of people who are now on DA interested in what we are now doing.

That's right, his characters were the first that I saw. I created two
characters there. better said let him create two for me. One Russian,
one Japanese. I think the Japanese is still in use there, when I left I
let the character go free for whoever wants to have it. Her name was
Michiko Suzuki, I think. But I don't know for sure.
There was another league, run by someone else, wrestling. I stayed
there for a while, but when I didn't see progress, and didn't see my
girl getting pictured in fights at Denav's site, I wanted to do my own
stuff. That was when Victoria 4 was introduced to the market.
My own stuff in the early days was ter-ri-ble. But at least I could get
poses and angles that I favored. The learning curve never ended, and
progress has been made. Well, you see what I do now. It's still not
always perfect, by far. Sometimes it's good. But I'm still hungry, I want
more, I want better.
That's the difference to the sites where we've been.

I still credit him with giving a lot of us the orginal idea of combining 3d art and boxing stories. We have gone different ways and developed our own styles since then but Kitten has her roots in his DWBL even though she has moved on. By bringing in Heather who remembers Kittens DWBL start I am giving a nod to the real life history of 3d boxing art online. While many flowers bloom now I don't think it hurts to remember who planted the first seed.

Did the Korean trainer become the one who trained Heather or did she just beat up Heather like clockwork? Also, was it the trainer teenage Heather picked the fight with?
Anyway, here is a direct replay of their conversation I overheard:
"Ohhhh, you come here ... I beat you big time and you come back and I beat you big time again!"
"How about giving me pointers so I know how to beat YOU."
"No how I train you. You think I have empty in my head? You watch 'Karate Kid' and buy book on how to box."
"But Danielsan had Myorgi to train him."
"That movie. This IRL and IRL I beat holy shit out of you."
And so went Heather's "lessons," learning how to punch by being punched and how to knockout by being knocked out.
