Description Voila! My newest piece of art! I am quite pleased with this one, and as a twist to my usual style I did it completely digitally in Adobe Photoshop. I have been wanting to do some art on Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians for a long time now, but never quite found the right inspiration (or time) until just recently. I flushed out this little idea and this is the result!

I used an art nouveau style (if you couldn't tell, I'm very fond of it) and used some different methods than my usual nouveau pieces. As per the character's name and theme, I covered the banners in frost and ice, and decorated the rest of the frame with snowflakes. On the inside of the frame, rather than a simple gradient, I painted an image of the moon (yes, I digitally painted the moon), as it also fits in with Jack's overall theme.

Drawing Jack Frost himself on my tablet digitally was by far the most fun. I enjoyed it a lot and was surprised that I got the proportions right more or less on the first try (I'm usually terrible at that when drawing digitally). I made his hands and feet a little exaggerated, despite the drawing style being a little more on the realistic side, as in the film I felt his hands and feet were a bit large in contrast to a thin and lanky body. I also played around with textures, which was also quite fun (like adding freckles to his hands, feet, and cheeks).

And, of course, because I have always been horrible at backgrounds, I simply made it dark blue and made it to appear as if it were lightly snowing, to both fit with Jack's individual theme and to double as a night-time sky to match the moon in the frame.

As always, feedback is greatly appreciated, so don't feel shy to comment!
