if i'm perfectly honest, i've had this done since february and just never had the courage to upload it. i was going to upload this dialogue thing with it, like... if ur fallout oc was a companion, what would their dialogue be... and i redid that dialogue thing a few times and was never satisfied with it and began to doubt her as a character altogether and then decided she wasn't good enough to see the light of day, so.

but then bre came along and kicked my ass and said, "u always tell me my ideas are good and that i shouldn't be ashamed of them and that i shouldn't care what other people think, so why don't u follow ur own advice??" so here i am. following me own advice. saying fuck it and just putting her out there.

i got the pipboy layout from jenna excluding her karma, inventory, and hairstyle. i sacrificed the inventory for the sake of having 2 refs, one with and one without the mask, and now i've trapped myself in a hell that involves drawing 2 refs for EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER. fkdsfdksak

also i could never stick to the in-game hairstyles... cyrilla was actually supposed to have a high ponytail originally, which also isn't an in-game style, and i just used wendy the welder as the next best thing. but then when she picked up the hockey mask, i had to switch to a low ponytail because of the way the straps of the mask come together in the back. i always like... design first... before i put them in the game... which is why my hairstyles are all over the place. shrugs.

i do try to stick to in-game outfits with a few exceptions, though.

i also think the karma should be fairly obvious on this one but if you really gotta know it's Very Evil. activating project purity herself got her back up to Neutral and that lasted all of 15 minutes before she was Back At It Again.

i misspelled characteristics (the result of "finishing" this at 3:15 in the morning) but i don't even care. the blood on her jumpsuit looks Bad but i don't even care. (the blood on the jumpsuit is actually the same exact shade as the blood on the left it just looks so much brighter bc it's contrasted with a cool color...) a lot of the intense detail work i did got OBLITERATED bc i was working on a 5000x5000 canvas and then scaled the drawings down for the ref sheet. but. who cares??

but yeah, god... it's been 5 months, and she's finally here, and the second ref sheet, thaddeus, is over halfway done. i'm just really sick of feeling shitty about my characters!! i'm sick of comparing them to other people's! i'm sick of feeling like they're not good enough! who cares!! who cares if they're not good and don't make sense! we're not here for sense; we're here for fun! and i am having fun.

so there. here she is. fuckin' finally. almost 250 hours logged on fallout and i finally uploaded one (1) goddamn oc,, , at last

maybe i won't hide thaddeus real close against my chest for 5 months when i finally finish him.
