Sorry for bringing this topic up again (as I was reviewing it for our church; at least when it says to 'Baptize', it always means full immersion - which is what I'm intending to tell our church/group leader[s])"Is the washing away of sins done by baptism, the representation of the circumcised heart (Col. 2:11-12 ) which means you are already saved, or is it by the blood of Christ (Heb. 9:14 ; Rom. 5:9 ; Eph. 1:7 )? Obviously it is the blood of Jesus and the washing here refers to the calling on Jesus' name."

Are we saved by faith or by baptism?

And some "Questions for those who believe baptism is necessary for salvation "

Still, my previous response to say that Baptism is still important (but not essential for the actual salvation from hell to heaven), still stands.

What about the passage comparing baptism to the crossing of the Red Sea, when the people were only sprinkled with the spray? (I Cor. 10:1-2)

I think the most important thing is that the baptism is in the name of Christ. The Lord looks at the heart.

Going back to CARM again: "Gal. 3:27, "for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." This is speaking of the believer's union with Christ. It is an identification with, a joining to, a proclamation of loyalty to, etc. In 1 Cor. 10:2 the Israelites were baptized into Moses. That means they were closely identified with him and his purpose. The same thing is meant here." Source: [link]
"Baptism is a ceremony that represents an outward representation of an inward reality. For example, it represents the reality of the inward washing of Christ's blood upon the soul. That is why it is used in different ways. It is said to represent the death of the person (Rom. 6:3-5), the union of that person with Christ (Gal. 3:27), the cleansing of that person's sins (Acts 22:16), the identification with the one "baptized into" as when the Israelites were baptized into Moses (1 Cor. 10:2), and being united in one church (1 Cor. 12:13). Also, baptism is one of the signs and seals of the Covenant of Grace that was instituted by Jesus." source, and for the full article on that: [link]

But anyway, I guess we're continuing this in the Notes, I presume?

"Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him.
As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch said, "Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?"
[And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."]
And he ordered the chariot to stop; and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch, and he baptized him.
When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing."

Also it was interesting for me:
"Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?"
Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
"That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
"Do not be amazed that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'"
(Jn.3:3-7)
Why Jesus told to Nicodemus that to be saved he need to be born of water?

"Now when they heard {this,} they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brethren, what shall we do?"
Peter {said} to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
"For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself."
And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation!"
So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls.
They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer"
(Ac.2:37-42)
What should we do?
How our sin can be washed away? Please in answer please tell me what's written here. And why Peter told them that they need to be baptized?
"For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ"
(Ga.3:27) How we can be clothed with Christ?
"And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
"He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned".
(Mk.16:15,16)
When people saved? Should we baptize someone?
If I wrong I will be glad to admit that i wrong. And I just want to know truth. In His love I asking you not to be angry on me.

Here's an answer to each of the quotes mentioned: [link]

And one focusing on Mark 16:16 [link]

"While we should preach that all people are commanded to repent and be baptized (Acts 2:38), [whether you like it or not] adding any other requirement to salvation by grace becomes β€œworks” in disguise.

Even though numerous Scriptures speak of the importance of water baptism, adding anything to the work of the cross demeans the sacrifice of the Savior. It implies that His finished work wasn't enough."

How our sin can be washed away?
Don't you know that it's the Blood of Jesus that cleanses us from sin?

Also, Acts 15:11"No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are." you can check the context of the verse if you like -here: [link]

Just to note, I have been baptized myself, and I still COMPLETELY agree with baptism; I do think it's definitely an important step in our Christian faith indeed.

I didn't say that Baptism isn't important.

I agree that we are commanded by Jesus Himself to be baptised - as it's *clearly* written in Scripture - that is, once we are saved.

We told almost the same things.
And I agree with everything you said. I just missunderstood point with faith in deeds.

Baptism isn't needed for heaven
I'll use your verse as an example
"He who has believed and has been
baptized shall be saved; but he who
has disbelieved shall be condemned".
(Mk.16:15,16)
It says nothing about not being baptized
just in not believing.

He never condemns not being baptized,
baptism is just showing your faith its like
letting the world know that you are a life
for Christ
