Description
I very ALMOST accidentally broke my Soaring rule while drawing this by forgetting to give it 6 limbs but I remembered just in time. This creature does not technically have a prehistoric counterpart, my concept was what if a Pterosaur stuck to the ground, it's wings reduced in size to no longer needing them, and it took to eating plants. They still have a very ornate Head crest remonicent of some Pterosaurs crossed with the Stag-like horn of a Kirin.

The Kirin or Qilin is a mythical Chinese creature often referred to as a "Chinese Unicorn" but is a lot more like a Dragon crossed with a Stag. They are Celestial creatures said to be so gentle that they levitate above the grass as not to disturb a single leaf and have the power to determine innocence or guilt from a single glance. The myth of the Kirin may have been inspired by the emperor receiving a gift of Giraffes which from a distance appeared to be a mythical creature.
