Can't wait to see you do more work with the tablet. Wanna know how to get good with it steadily faster?
Put your mouse away and use only your pad and pen. I switched mine to mouse mode and it gets you used to moving the pen while looking at the screen. And, just overall movement of the pen.
When you finally go into PS, Sai, OC, etc. you'll have a better feel for the pen movement and can control your lines and tip pressure better.
I still really don't use a mouse, but I bust it out when my fingers start tingling. Got rest that drawing hand.
