One of my oldest ocs! Hans the Himbo!!!

you're probably wondering.... "do all these Germans have the Blue Max!?!" no of course not. There happens to be a few holders of the Pour Le Merite in Jasta 91 but they all earned it at vastly different times in the war. In the case of Hans, he earned his long before joining Matthias' Jasta!

Hans has been in the Air Service since conscription. He had no prior aviation knowledge but quickly became a remarkable pilot.
At the beginning of his aviation career he was an observer in a reconnaissance squadron. It was there he met Matthias Breitling, who became his pilot. They quickly became great friends and were the best Emil and Franz team in their squadron. (Emil being the nickname given to a reconnaissance pilot and Franz to the observer).

As the first Jastas were formed Hans and Matthias managed to join the same one and flew together for some time. After Hans earned the Pour Le Merite the duo had to part ways. Hans was given command of his own Jasta but quickly ceded this role. He realized he was not meant to be a leader. Meanwhile during Hans' CO escapade Matthias had also earned the Pour Le Merite and was given command of Jasta 91. Hans transferred to Matthias' newly acquired squadron and became one of the first pilots under his command.

Despite being a bit slow, Hans is a fantastic aviator. He is the most cheerful pilot in the Jasta. He enjoys meeting new people and tries to become friends with everyone he meets. His happiness rubs off on others and can't help but make people smile when they are around him. He loves making jokes and pulling pranks on his fellow pilots. He is a known ladies man. This has gotten him in trouble with his girlfriend, Elbe, in the past who has to rule over him with an iron fist. He can't help flirting with the ladies.

He loves animals almost as much as he loves himself. He has a squadron cat who he.....named after himself.... Hans The Second.
He loves acting a fool and is usually the one drunkard getting bribed into doing stupid stunts at parties.
He also seems to have a fascination with potatoes. No one knows why, he just does....
