I love African Wild dogs DDX they're such beautiful animals. yet I hardly see anything of them 8< people are always so focused on the bigger game we have. The African wild dog is HEAVILY endangered as Farmers shoot them when they see them on their land. African Wild Dogs are basically our version of the Wolf. In fact their Latin name MEANS "painted Wolf" they live in packs, have an Alpha male and female and raising the pups is a group effort. I was REALLy close when i took this XDDD I GOT closer but I had to roll up my window.Time of day +- 2:30pm

um. Awsome picture. and trying not to be a totally ass but as far as i know there are no alphas in their packs. Its all equal. As far as i know and you may ignore me completly if you have proof that i am wrong.

hm i know. So many sources so different. See i got it from an animal enciwhatever that had tons of other animals in it and in theirs they stated that they were all equal within the pack

*sigh* So beautiful. Only bested by my personal fav, the Hyena! It's sad people have to shoot so many wild animals! In my state of Florida, we have a beautiful panther named for our state. Part of the reason they're endangered is because people keep shooting them to keep them from eating livestock! Grrr...
