Welp, believe it or not, it was actually my birthday, today. And I know that I have been quiet about it, but my mood has been a little depressed, as of late. Sigh....Anyway, here's to another 23 years of widdle owd me!
Also, There has been this 'MerMay' craze going on in this site and surprisingly, I have not done anything to contribute to it. Especially since I did the very same thing, a year, ago!
In any case, Here is Abel and Searose again. Only this time....Searose looks different.
Gone is the light-blue ribbon on her chest and in its place is now the blue, dolphin skin from her tail.
Remember when I mentioned that I draw hair and fur 'realistically'? Well, I have been attempting to put realism into my arts in several other ways, too. So now, Searose is looking more organic. She and Abel still look simple though, so this may not be the last time that I will redesign either of them...
On a final note, I am virtually done with my education for thisΒ year! So it is now the time of year when my arty-side will not feel so constrained.

Aw, I like Searose with a midriff.Β But, if you must make her more fish than human, I won't argue with you.
Actually, I find it funny that Abel is living with mermaids.Β When he hits puberty and realizes how many mermaids have bare midriffs (assuming that's what they usually have), well, let's just say he'll have a fish in his swim trunks to contend with.

Now the little boy can only end up with a mermaid tail then you can be either a big sister and little brother or mother and son.

There's a MerMay thing going on? I strangely haven't noticed. Hope you're okay, I don't like friends experiencing depression. No fun at all.
Nice to see these two again. Hopefully the boy isn't too much a handful for her, heh.
And happy belated birthday man. Keep your chin up and stuff. I know it can be hard at times but hey...it's nice to see it not affect your creative side.

Awww this is very adorable. Searose looks lovely changing to a one piece. She and able are very cute together wonderful job.
