I try to look ahead.. I try blocking it out.. this pain I cant forget..
Everywhere I look I see life.. I see light..
But suddenly I remember what’s missing.. I remember why I try not too look back..
And suddenly there is no reason for keeping my eyes un-closed..
The little hope I have fades away.. deep down in my heart..
I open my eyes again.. but there is nothing ahead.. no green leaves.. and all that is left behind.. is just what I tried blocking out from the start..
