Thank you I used a flat head brush for the trees and dabbed the paint.  Wow, you are right about the aquarelle technique, I did use white gouache for the lighter layer. Do you paint with gouache?

The trees are done with a brush as well? Wow, seems like really hard work! Well, I'm not so great with the technical terms and I never really figured out what the difference between aquarell and gouache really is, but it says Gouache Studio on it so I guess yes. From time to time I use it because I use a lot of different media (is it the correct plural form? I have no idea, I only know the latin one ^^) and I have a lot to do

The galaxy paintings are not hard to do, it just takes a lot of time! I don't follow technical terms either, I am self taught so I just pick up techniques on my own I know aquarell is when the paint is transparent, gouache can do this well.

I think I'll try to do one as well they look really fun! I hope you don't mind, I just love galaxies and everything that has to do with space. How can Gouache not be transperent?

Not at all, I am honoured that my works inspired you!
I love galaxies too, they are quiet and peaceful places I find that other people like them for that reason too. I love painting galaxies, it's all I have been doing for a few weeks now!
I know a lot about painting them, I am thinking of making a tutorial  
Yeah gouache is useful in that way because it helps to build layers, plus you can continue to play with it after it dries.
