Toxic Waste had a lonely life. She had her parents, though she doesn't get along with her mother, but she never managed to make friends. From Vanhoover, she started studying chemistry at Canterlot after the death of her father, to pursue Biohazard's path. Being the only earth pony of her grade didn't help for her friendship issues either. But her huge intelligence helped, even if she wasn't a unicorn and had to use her mouth/hooves instead of her horn.
She got her diploma and started what she thought was a new life, but getting a job was difficult. She was living in Manehattan, at the edge of poverty, doing some insecticides for the farmers as a job; until she met a stallion with whom she had an affair. But when she found out she was pregnant, he was nowhere to be found.

Now she tries to give the best life to her filly, her best friend playing the father figure for her...but she's unaware of Laudanaum's feelings for her.
