Well... This is the finished version of the sketch I posted up. I didn't really say anything in depth about the sketch, so I feel I should here. >_>Yes, it's a human heart the character is holding. A human heart... if you can consider it human if it's from the body of a god, but never mind. >____>
The character is Aether, the antagonist from my story Divinitas [link] . And yes, he cut the heart out of another person (if you read the story, I think you should be able to guess, so I'm not going to specify. >_> ) and he is happy about it.
Just think about what a heart symbolises, and the title of the piece. Forbidden. Heart. Blah blah blah. Whatever. He couldn't have it freely, so he sold half his soul for it. ^_^ Or something.
Okay, I will stop now. Image was done in Painter 6 and PhotoShop 7. Of course I used a refernece for the heart. I am not *that* sick and twisted to go cutting out human hearts and studying them in my free time!!! Only Aether would do that. ^_^
And yes, I know his heart hand is screwed up, and the blood looks awfully fake, but hopefully you can still deduct that's it's blood considering what he's holding. ^_^

Yes, I'm SURE it's stolen. That's why I have the SKETCH of it in my scraps section. Not to mention I have the actual sketch in my folder sitting on the other side of my room, as well has the huge .psd file that was used to create it sitting on my HD. >___> Get your facts straight before you start accusing me of stealing artwork which I created. Aether is MY original character from Divinitas [link] as unforunate as that may be, but he is MINE, and this artwork is MINE. I put the time and effort into it, not whoever else stole it. So I would like a sincere apology from you for your wrongful accusation. >___<

I'm hoping your did a typo... or otherwise you didn't read my comments... but the character is a HE... not a HER.... That would just be... weird and... not good. HE. Aether is definately a HE. He's the main seme in my story and it would just be... wrong if he was a she... X___x

I love this picture to death. I drew a heart once and it looks no where as good as yours right there. The blood looks awesome and Aether just looks so happy about doing that...

Eheheheheh... ^_^; Me bad, can't even type in my own website URL. But I fixed it now! Yay for me! ^_^ Um... nails... Aether files his nails and uses them to cut Phoenix's flesh when he doesn't have a blade on hand. ^_^ Isn't he sweet??? I think so. I mean, just think about it! Do you know how annoying it is to get blood and skin out from underneath you fingernails? And Aether is willing to ignore all of that for Phoenix-chans! Phoenix-chans should be greatful! ^_^

*laughs* It's a beautifully coloured picture. It's kind of disturbing though especially since that heart looks so real, but from what I've read of Aether it's something I could see him doing.

Especially concerning the heart ^_^ such beautiful colours, skin tone, expression, and duality. And the details x.x especially with the hair *_* and the cross fits so wonderfully into it. Morbid and dark, yet tasteful and elegant.

WOW. I love how the streaks of blood look on his hands, and how the heart actually looks like that once pulsating organ and not a blob of red.
You even drew where the arteries and such should have come from and..and.... I like it!.
I like how in this one his 'other' eye actually shows as well, and it fits with the whole demon/angel thing he has going, as if the eye is an embodiment of the evil in him, rather than the good.
If that makes sense...
I love how his hair remains ever-immaculate, regardless to the tattered state the dark side of him is.
