Here are my rules to a Superman/Goku teamup
1. Both sides have to be respected. One cannot simply be the better by a large margin and the other is just a helper. Both have to contribute their knowledge and strength
2. The threat has to be insane in scale. Since these two are pretty much the best of both worlds, they have to fight something challenging to the point where they have to work together
3. The fight must kick ass. I know this goes without saying, but you need the fight to be fast paced and full of action. This would include fusing at least once.
Aside from that, everything's fair game.
