Chapter 14
I opened my eyes and late at night. I didn't have my blade or any weapon for that manner. I look down at my leg and see it was in a cast of leaves an my side had been stitched up. My arm was back in place. I looked on side of the bed and saw that there was a pair of crutches. I hobble over to the crutches and use them to leave the room. i walked through the door way to a room. the room was filled with start maps and plants. I saw on a table there was a small dried out plant like creature.
I kept walking and came to a large door. This door led to a courtyard filled with blast marks and scorches. I started to hear explosions. I looked out to see there was an old man fighting a lion made of what looked like blue glass and all that was connected by stars with a wooden sword. I watched as the man fought this being.
The man swung the blade and the lion attacked with a powerful roar. he lion pounced on him and they rolled on the ground. He kicked the lion's leg and it fell off of him. The lion pounced again. the man grabbed the main of the monster jumpped on its back. the monster rooled and threw him off of him. It tried to bite at him but the man held the blade in its mouth. The lion threw the blade away and attacked again. the lion attacked again. The man uppercutted it. After rolled aback and kicked it. He them rolled over and grabbed the blade and struck the animal in the neck. It shattered.
He looked over at me and asked, "How long have you been there?"
"Long enough to see that fight. How did this thing get here and how did I get here for that matter."
"I brought you here after I saved you from Elodoes's clone."
"Who?"
"The guy who took your girl and almost killed you. Now if you want her back i suggest you listen to me and learn celestial magic."
"How my leg is useless and my boots are broken," I ask.
"With the help from my magic last night, you will be able to use your leg tomorrow."
"Your magic?"
"My celestial magic. Now if you dicide to learn this magic until tomorrow go to the library and start reading the white books."

"Call me Fafnir."
"Damien," I say to him going to the libray. I step inside to find mile high roof to a building no bigger the than a shack.
I walk down the huge hall and find the books. I threw the large books on to the table. I open the books and begin to read. Thier spoke of a history two brother. One brother was raised by clergymen and the other by fallen angels. They both grew to muturity by way of purity a helping others. The other brother grew in the ways of theivery and diception. As they grew so did thier mistic powers. One used thiers to heal people while the other used it to kills and harm. They never met only the stories of the others conquet and acheivements ever seen the other. Thier names were Fafnir while the other Fenrain. On a trip to the planet of earth on a pilgrimage, they both lived to taught others in thier way. A widely know champion of light was the rabbi Leow while a champion of the dark was the blood crazed Vlad Tepes.
"Fafnir is old. Literally."
"I say," Fafnir says from behind me.
"How long have you been here?"
"Just got here," he says.
"Fafnir how old are you?"
"I'm 5000 years old."
"Wow."
"Yeah in my time I taught alot to people. Like the entire religion of islam was me messing around with the bible. Yeah that was one of my greater things. I also witnessed the birth of Christ."
"How many other thing were you apart of?"
"The battle of hot gates, World war 1, the civil war, ireland gaining independance, and became good friends with that man Blackbeard. By the way if your wondering i was always the guy trying to eat around Ghandi."
"You were trolling Ghandi."
"Yeah."
"Wow. So you and the guy I fougth were brothers."
"No that was his first and most powerful disiple. Elodoes. he still believe I killed his master."
"Did you?"
"No he killed himself after the a small meeting between us. He told me that he envied me for my up bringing and perfect life. He just couldn't handle it for so long until finally we met and killed himself."
"So Elodoes beleieves you killed him."
I started to read another book. This one spoke of the different powers of the celestial magic. These powers included thing like leviation, summoning, flashes of light. These powers are intense ified by the use of the sun and the moon more the power becomes intensified. These powers have been known to stop and overpower enemies.
I left the building and found Fafnir and he told me since I could train at the moment he guessed we should get all the other thing I'll need for my training. I needed the symbol for the celestail. I followed him to a room and that room lead to large room The sat on the table and placed my arm out. Fafnir came with a large bowl and knife. "What the knife for?"
"It for the ritual." He cut his own hand with the blade and dripped it into a bowl. he chanted something. he placed a needle into the blood. He placed it to my skin and began to draw. He started with an infinity symbol. Then he went further up my arm and a drew the alchemy sign for moon and sun together. He finished.the drawing. It started to glow with much heat. It burned until it was fianlly a scorched into my skin.
I sat up and felt my ankle hurting. I placed my hand over it and saw a green light. The light began to heal the my ankel and I could move it like before. I could move with out the crutches and cast now. "Now that I could move I want to start my training."
"Sounds good to me. Now the most basic and useful weapon that we have is a simple flash of light. This flash of light can be used in many different ways from blinding an opponet or destroying darkness weapons or shields. Small darkness creatures can be stopped or destroyed by strong enough flashes. One of these creatures are called a darkness pocket." Fafnir takes out a viel. The viel held a small dried out creature just like the ones from before. He walked into the courtyard. He used a stick of chalk to draw a large symbol on the ground. He chanted something else and a large rock man entered. I readied my blades. Fafnir said to me, "Don't worry you don't have to fight it. Yet."
"What do I do with it?"
"You have to use the flashes I told you about. You have to stop the Darkness pocket with them."
"That doesn't sound hard."
"It does if you have a massive stone crerature to deal with also." he throws the pocket on to the golem. The golem comes to life and starts going crazy. Black tentacle start wrapping around his arms and legs. His eyes became a dark purple. it rose up and struck down with a great smash. It was awake and ready for a fight. I sent fire balls at it to begin the fight. It was hit by them like it was nothing. I jumped up and slashed down at the monster. It raised it arm and stopped me. He punched me in the body. I flew away from him. I looked at my arm and tried the flash ability. I tried to focus but the move I could concentrate hard enough. I threw the spade at his arm. It embed itself inside of it. I tore out the spade. It had a large crack in it now. Ooze began falling out. I rushed away from the rock monster. it screamed out and rushed at me.
I cleared my mind. I charged up a small bit of light in my hand. I threw the ball at him. It burst in front of him. The pocket exposed itself. I rushed toward it and let out another flash of light. it sprawled away from the golem and I stomped it out. Fafnir yelled out, "Good job my friend."
"That wasn't that hard. now what about that summoning. from before."
"Summoning. Celestial migicans can use power to summon powerful and useful star monsters. Most common take the form of zodiac symbols."
"That lion from before that was..."
"Leo the prideful lion."
"I'll like to summon that one first."
"Wow that uis too strong for you. you have to start off with one of the first three. We shall begin with the most useful of the twelve: Libra the powerful shield, Gemini the power doubler, and fianlly Aquarius the healer.
"How do I summon these thing?"
"Start with Libra. Focus a flash of light into your finger and then draw this symbol." I take a piece of paper from his hand and look at it. I draw the symbol for Libra in the sky. A shadow opens and a being that looked like an old scale opens up and floats in front of me. "Now tell it to protect."
"Protect." It creates a shield in front of me. i moved away and it still stayed in front of me.
"Now dispand it. By thanking it."
"Thank you." Libra disappates. Next I did the same for Aquarius. She flew above me and pours a pot of water onto my body healing even the smallest scratch. Finally it was Gemini. Gemini was a small fairy. It danced around me and my blades felt stronger. I felt like I could slaughter any enemy.
"This is amazing. What about..." A large thud was at the door.
Fafnir walked over and opened it. A girl fell on to him. he brought her over and she looked up. "Helen."
"Hey Damien I'm happy to see you're here." She was in scraps of cloth as clothing.
"I got a away a couple days ago."
"Fafnir can you help her."
"Yeah I'll just... Ah!"
I drew my blades. "What?"
Helen walks away from him perfectly fine. "Your girl stabbed me." There was a black dagger coming out of his back.
"Can I help," I asked.
"No this dagger is off pure black magic. No amount of healing will save me."
I looked over at Helen. She was now standing next to a shadow like the from before and wearing . He then became a pysical being. He was taller than me by a couple inches. He wore armor made up of red leather and black metal. His forearms were covered with spikes that ran along his arms. large shoulder guards kept his upper body safe. One his back there were large sharpened poles with copper spikes. His teeth were like the usual vampire teeth except they were on the out side. His head had large bat wings coming from the sides. His belt buckle was in the shape of a a bat with six massive wings. His legs were bandaged with them same red leather from before. A large black cloak lived around his lower part of his body. when i concetrated hard enough I saw faces and bodies of his past kills. His long hair covered his eyes from view.
As Elodoes stood there my eyes wondered over to Helen. Her eyes that were ever so filled with happiness and joy were now filled with anger. They were cold as icy air.i held my blades with a close grip.
"So you're the guy my half dead friend tried to teach. if you little piece of shit wasn't here i wouden;t have founf this little whore. Tell me when you had this girl moaning did she she do it out of pleasure or pity." I fastened my grip even harder.
"Shut your damn mouth."
"I hit a nerve there didn't I."
"Now when I ravaged this body of hers, I enjoyed these tits of hers the most. These things are amazing." He pulled down her shirt and exposed her massive breast. He came close to it and placed his face into them. After he licked them slowly not taking his eye off me. "You don't understand how fun is was using this thing. "No and if you want this girl you will have to deserve her by having a little fight with me. Find the Fallen arena in the black ocean and we will dicide who acquires this girl."
"Agreed."
"I suggest you bring your a game when this happens." he disappears with Helen.
I look over at Fafnir. he spoke past him persistant vomiting of his own blood. I kneel down towards him. He had a tears rolling down his face and a smile across his face. "I never believed that death was like this."
"What?"
"The reaper I've tried to escape all my life until know now that I see him, I greet him. Not as a stranger but as an old friend. He's reaching his hand out to me before I go I like to give you somethig." He takes out a cloak that looked like white scales.
"What is this," I ask.
"It's called the star dragon cloak. Many men through history have used this power. Good men. Usually it will only enhance a person's natural ability but since I am on my death bed it will give you all the memories of past users along with the other effect. I think this will give you the advantage you need for the fight." He spits out more blood. "Well my friend do me a favor."
"Anything?"
"Kick his ass."
"Already going to."
