Do you reference anything when designing your armor? Or do you make everything up off the top of your head?

I reference a lot of shit, I have folders in my favorites by reference type.
this one in particular was referenced by "Infinity Blade" on the left and "Soul Caliber 3";concept art.
but I build up and take away what I see, and make up something that looks inspired by, but not a reflection of what ever it is I reference

Both armours looks very cool. Thought I like desert nomad version a bit more. Capes are badass.
