I never really understood all the hate for trans people. So what if their a girl and have a dick or man and have a vagina. So. Their still human. I myself am born biologically female. I act like a guy. It matches my personality and behavior. I honestly don't care if someone addresses me with male or female pronouns. My grandma hates when I wear boyish clothes cause she's a full out Christian. What's also dumb is when people hate homosexuals and are Christian. Just because you follow the rules of the bible doesn't mean you have the right to judge others, and this goes for everyone. Do they honestly think that it's not okay to love someone of the same gender but it's perfectly fine to hate someone you never met?

At the start of the year, when I explained she told the people that I "wanted" to be a guy. *headdesk* "wanted" is one of my biggest pet peeves, because it makes it sound like a choice... Then, ((Idk how it happened exactly)) one of new people ((Who arrived after I came out)) caught wind of my birth name and poked fun at me about it. ((She shut up after someone else asked what gender she was, HAH)) ... And finally, I had worked so hard to keep my film class from finding out my physical gender, but after the musician from that group started coming to my drama - well now she misgenders me

I love acting too, but not being out I'm forced to perform female roles, which is really painful, but better than not acting at all. I try to play guys when I can, but I always get funny looks. :/ it doesn't help that there is a girl in my theatre class who is more masculine than most of the guys, and she has tiny boobs and is shapeless, and I'm so jealous of her, if she wanted, she could pass.
My dad doesn't know, I'm scared to tell him because I know he will hate me, and I couldn't handle that.

I know what you mean. *nods* the person who made fun of my birth name can legit pass... (and so can another person, she's playing one of the bigger male roles because of her voice being masculine alone - but that's okay, because she has to sing, and I can't get my singing to pass, or close, yet... Sometimes I just WISH that you could swap bodies with other people. Can you imagine how many MORE people would be happy if that were true? Ah, it's a stupid wish, in the realism way, but I don't care.

Well, put it this way, in my storylines a lot of characters come from a place called Esperan. The best part about that is that practically all the guys have higher voices anyway. Haha, optogenetics allows scientists to sort of control the mind of mice and fruit flies with light. They can make female fruit flies perform male sex rituals, and they can make mice very happy. It could be used eventually to treat PTSD, depression, anxiety etc.

I don't think this kind of animal testing is all that bad though, because it isn't harming them per se.

I just don't like it when the animals are deliberately injured or impeded. Sometimes it is pointless though, they function so differently than humans, they could react differently, either approving a dangerous to humans treatment or causing scientists to give up on something amazing that is bad for animals but not humans.
I love animals so much. Like seriously, way too much for my own good. Even the thought of one in pain makes me want to cry.
