You may ask why am I drawing Pokémon and why does this look so crappy.
The reason is fairly simple: this is my way of punishing myself for releasing an Articuno egg on GPX+ instead of hatching egg. I spent 5 days to get my hands on that egg and by far it's one of my favourite Pokémon of all the time so just imagine my frustration... :rolleyes:
The" punishment game" as I call it is very, very simple:
1) Your subject is the thing you screwed up
2) You have 1 hour
3) You shall not erase anything
4) You MUST upload the results (to maximize the suffering )

With this I used the worst kind of marker paper I own, two shades of blue, a gray, a brown and a pink marker. No white gel pen here (I've become addicted to it, it's great for making highlights).

There are some obvious (anatomical) mistakes I cannot unsee *facepalm*
The tail flows nicely even if it's a bit too long  e u e

Aaah a blue bird how could I resist?
Besides the GPX+ woke up my inner Pokéfanatic that's been sleeping for a decade or so...
NO I totally DID NOT download an emulgator and Pkmn Emerald noooo
Though I should go with Red or Blue first since I'm really only familiar with the first gen... Start slowly

Wow expressive.  The colors, the shading, even the way you flowed the color with the body of the subject. Very impressive!

If I had used more shades and time it would look better but for a limited palette and one hour of working time it looks pretty good actually, now that I look at it again

Yeah as Diskfire said it still looks pretty damn great though I can tell you didn't maximize its potential.

It's pretty good for a drawing performed in one hour now that I look it in that way...
Seeing all the obvious mistakes just bugs me (especially the left, vertical wing, I screwed that up big time *facepalm*)
