Description
Snowdrop is a fan-made animated short based on My Little Pony Friendship is Magic by Silly Filly Studios. It is written by Meredith Sims, and directed by Meredith Sims and Marshal 'Zedrin' Watson. Set during the time between Discord's reign and Princess Luna's transformation into Nightmare Moon, it tells the story of a young, blind filly named Snowdrop who makes a discovery that offers Cloudsdale--and Equestria--a gift, one that today many take for granted. *SOLD!
She is made of 3mm minky fabric (baby blue, snow white, turquoise) and has machine embroidered eyes and details on her wings.
She measures approx:
* 11,2" (28cm) high from hoof to the top of the head
* 12,4" (31 cm) high from hoof to the top of the mane

Hi! I really like the snowdrop. I have a question. Does the thickness of the minky fabric make a difference when making plushies? Like is 3mm work better then 1mm fabric? I just would like to know.thanks.

I've found in general the short pile minky has a bit less stretch so if I make something with a short pile it will come out somewhat sleeker/skinnier

Thanks I will try that. I really notice a difference when working with minky. The pony really does come out a lot better. Its a nice fabric to work with, I think.

Ha! I know how you feel. The intire time I was working on my resent plush, a Cadance out of polar feece, I was like, "I hate this fabric!" Just wish it minky wasn't so expensive. Also they don't sell it at any fabric stores I live near.
Funny story, I was driving around and decided to run into walmart cause I had nothing better to do. I havent been there in awhile and I saw they had a fabric section. I was so excited! Asked the girl if they have minky fabric. She gave me Mickey Mouse cotton fabric.

That's crazy that's in only in dotted black. I have a store that sells the dotted minky in all colors but no blank. every now and then they get a blank one in. usually im broke at the time.

3mm means the lenght of the pile, I have never worked with 1mm so I don't know if there's any difference; also I saw only 3mm and 5mm, no 1mm
